Dr. Kashif was amongst the first batch of surgeons to attend the Cancer Surgery training at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Lahore and was then awarded Fellowship in Surgical Oncology in 2014. He has led the Cancer Surgery at the Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI) Hospital Islamabad as an Associate Surgeon (Oncology).
Overview
Dr. Kashif Khan graduated from Army Medical College, Rawalpindi in 2004 and received his General Surgery Fellowship degree in 2011. He underwent General Surgery training from PIMS and Polyclinic Hospital of Islamabad. He has successfully performed more than 250 cancer surgeries to date.
Currently, he leads the Cancer Surgery Services at Maroof International Hospital and is an honorable member of Maroof Surgical Associates (MSA).
Being an active member of the Surgical Oncology Society of Pakistan, Dr. Kashif Khan has conducted extensive research on minimal invasive surgery for Rectal Cancer. His work has been published and recognized both locally and internationally. He has also represented Pakistan at International Cancer Conferences in Switzerland and South Africa.
Dr. Kashif Khan actively participates in Laparoscopic Surgery workshops where he has performed numerous Laparoscopic procedures for Cancer.
