He is currently working as General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Maroof International Hospital, Islamabad. Dr. Adil Shafi graduated (MBBS) from Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Hyderabad. After completing his General Surgery Training from Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi, he was conferred the Degree of Master of Surgery in General Surgery (MS – General Surgery) by Rawalpindi Medical University. He was also awarded the “Outstanding University Resident Award” by Rawalpindi Medical University for his outstanding achievements. Later, he was awarded MRCS by Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow in 2021. Also, he was awarded CMIS (Certification in Minimal Invasive Surgery) by the University of Faisalabad in 2022.
Apart from General & Laparoscopic Surgery, Dr. Adil Shafi had an additional qualification “Diploma in Sexology & Male Health,” & weekly clinics of Male-Infertility & Sexual problems are organised.
Principal Author of Research Article regarding Haemorrhoid (Piles) Surgery, & also Co-author of numerous Case reports & research papers.
